What’s interesting about HSU Vibe Coding Talents 2025?

Candidates are required to:

• Exhibit solid programming skills and a mastery of AI chatbots and agents;
• Complete technical challenges quickly and efficiently; and,
• Articulate the product and its development process to convince the judges.

Participation in HSU Vibe Coding Talents 2025 is a chance for Hoa Sen University students to achieve comprehensive development, hone their innovative thinking, and gain access to the latest AI trends. This is a unique opportunity to demonstrate the technological prowess of Viet Nam’s young generation.

Competition information

Registration Link

Registration time: September 15, 2025 – October 8, 2025

Competition Schedule (Tentative): October 11-12, 2025

Venue: Thanh Thai Campus, Hoa Sen University

Form of participation exam: Individual or group (maximum 2 people/group).

AI Tools Utilized: ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Claude, and Bing Chat.

Competition Format

1. Selection Round

During the live competition, each team will have 20 minutes to complete a topic and 3 minutes to present their product to the jury.

The top 16 teams will be selected to advance to the final round, with the use of AI chatbots and agents permitted throughout the competition.

2. Final round

The final round will feature 16 teams divided into two groups, competing in a knockout format. Each team will have 20 minutes to complete their project and 5 minutes to present to the judges and audience.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the final. Candidates are permitted to use any programming language or tool, but only AI Chatbots, not AI Agents, are allowed.

Note: Candidates are allowed to use any programming language or tool (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, Swift, Flutter, …)

Award structure

Beyond the cash prizes, our sponsors have provided several special gifts to accompany the awards.

• First prize: VN$2,000,000 cash prize, VN$10,000,000 Mikademy Voucher, and a gift from Sandisk/Western Digital;
• Second prize: VN$1,500,000 cash prize, VN$5,000,000 Mikademy voucher, and a gift from Sandisk/Western Digital;
• Third prize: VN$1,000,000 cash prize, VN$2,000,000 Mikademy Voucher, and a gift from Sandisk/Western Digital; and,
