The “Future Designer 2026” competition is now officially open, an exciting stage where imagination can take form, personality can shine, and authentic stories can unfold without limits.

“The Creative Me: Where Passion Today Becomes Tomorrow” opens the door to bold self-expression.
It encourages every young mind to listen to the creative voice within and let that voice unfold into a visual story, one that reflects rising aspirations, cherished values, and a future waiting to be imagined.

This year’s competition theme delivers a powerful message: The creative identity shaped today can become a defining force in the future ahead.

“The Creative Me” is an invitation to celebrate student talent and a journey into self-discovery:

Just you deal with the most daring, imaginative version of yourself.

4 fields – 4 creative routes to tell a story

Every competition category at Future Designer 2026 unlocks a new way to show “The Creative Me”:

– Graphic Design: A visual storyteller comes to life, crafting posters or motion pieces for an imagined future brand, translating ideas, emotions, and identity into striking visual language.

– Digital Art: A world-builder emerges, shaping characters and narratives through illustration, comics, or animation.

– Interior Design: A space-maker emerges, crafting environments where every detail reflects a personal way of seeing the world.

– Fashion Design: A future stylist emerges, imagining how humanity may live and dress on the ground, in space, or across digital realms.

No matter who you are or where you come from, Future Designer 2026 welcomes all to express your talent with complete freedom.

An elite judging panel powered by influential industry leaders

Since 2018, Future Designer has been the launchpad for the city’s young creatives. Each work reflects the spirit of youth: persistence, exploration, and the discovery of one’s own voice: “Ah, this is me”.

The journey continues in 2026 with even more excitement ahead. A team of esteemed lecturers and industry experts will mentor participants, helping refine ideas, elevate skills, and unlock the strongest, most confident version of themselves.

Bringing even more prestige to the event, this year’s competition is joined by a judging panel composed of leading figures who shape today’s creative landscape:

• Mr. Le Thanh Hoa, a leading designer in Viet Nam’s fashion industry;
• Mr. Bui Hoang Bao, architect at MIA Design Studio; and,
• Mr. Ly Qui Phuc, Creative Director of Runam – a brand of Niso Corporation.

With years of collaboration between HSU and top-tier experts and judges, this competition promises a truly professional and inspiring experience. Contestants will benefit from hands-on guidance and powerful insights delivered directly by seasoned leaders in the field.

The event is proudly supported by major industry names, including An Cuong Wood – Working Joint Stock Company, Blum Vietnam Company Limited, Ideas Ocean Co., Ltd., and Runam (a brand of NISO Corporation). Their partnership ensures a competition platform that meets real-world standards and celebrates the spirit of innovation.

Exclusive hands-on experience opportunities and prize rewards valued at up to VN$700 million

Those who advance to the Training & Mentoring round (March 15 – 30, 2026) will get hands-on guidance from instructors and industry experts. This is where contestants elevate their technical skills, sharpen their design thinking, and refine their products to the standard of a professional designer.

With a total value of up to VN$700,000,000 in HSU scholarships and cash prizes, this year’s rewards are more exciting than ever.

– 1 Special prize: 70% full-course scholarship + VN$10,000,000 in cash

– 4 First prizes:  35% full-course scholarship + VN$5,000,000 each

– 4 Second Prizes & 01 Popularity Prize: VN$2,000,000 + gift each

1. Commitment: All submissions must be original, legally owned works created without the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

5. Final Round & Awarding Ceremony: 08/04/2026
