Launching Global Futures: Opening Ceremony for the DMU – HSU and Hoa Sen Pathway Programs

On October 10, 2025, Hoa Sen University solemnly hosted the Opening Ceremony for the DMU – HSU International Joint Program (with De Montfort University) and officially launched the Hoa Sen Pathway Program. This significant event marks a new step in the University’s internationalization strategy, dramatically expanding international learning and experience opportunities for Vietnamese students.

At the ceremony, Dr. Ho Thi My Linh, Director of the Institute of International Education at Hoa Sen University (HSU), proudly joined representatives from partner organizations, lecturers, parents, and students in international programs, all united in a shared vision for a brighter future.

Dr. Ho Thi My Linh opened the ceremony with a warm welcome, highlighting her vision for international education. She stressed its power to build global capacity, specifically by equipping learners with essential skills, such as creative thinking, strong integration abilities, and adaptability necessary for thriving in a multicultural world.

The Student Message of Passion, Pride, and Aspiration

Speaking on behalf of the students, Ms. Nguyen Dao Uyen, a second-year Marketing student, proudly expressed her feelings about being part of a dynamic international community. She expressed sincere gratitude to her lecturers and family for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout her studies and personal development.

Following that, Mr. K’ Nguyen Se Pha, a first-year Graphic Design student, shared a heartfelt message to welcome new students: “Enjoy your university journey with all your passion, curiosity, and confidence in yourself”. He encouraged young individuals to seize every opportunity, discover themselves, and strive for constant growth.

Moreover, HSU presented gifts to the new students as an official welcome to the HSU – DMU family. 

The Strategic Collaboration with IMAP Viet Nam., JSC and Student Scholarship Expansion

Moreover, the ceremony featured an important milestone: the signing of an MOU between HSU and IMAP Viet Nam., JSC, a leading English training unit in the country. This partnership commits to expanding opportunities for HSU’s international students, providing crucial resources, such as enhanced language skills training, academic support, and specialized supplementary programs.

On this occasion, IMAP Viet Nam., JSC presented an exclusive scholarship package valued at VN$500,000,000 specifically for students of the Hoa Sen Pathway Program. This significant investment aims to encourage and support students’ future academic journey, preparing them for study and life abroad in the UK.

Closing the ceremony, representatives of HSU and partners conducted a grand hand-pressing ceremony on the screen. This powerful final image was more than a warm-up; it clearly demonstrated the spirit of unity and shared vision driving the new school year and the collective journey toward global knowledge among the universities, businesses, and students.
