Advancing Global Standards: AUN-QA Delegation Commends Three HSU Undergraduate Programs

On December 16, 2025, Hoa Sen University commenced the AUN-QA program-level assessment for three programs: Accounting, Finance and Banking, and Marketing.
This assessment marked the 490th prestigious external evaluation conducted by the ASEAN University Network (AUN). This initiative served as a clear testament to Hoa Sen University’s unwavering commitment to providing a quality education aligned with rigorous regional standards.

For Hoa Sen University (HSU), this evaluation presents a valuable moment to thoughtfully reflect on our relentless journey toward building and sustaining quality excellence.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Tu Minh Thien, HSU Vice President, emphasized that ongoing engagement with international accreditation systems, including AUN-QA, ASIIN, FIBAA, and NEAS, was not a final objective but rather a sustained strategic commitment.

He stated that academic excellence and quality assurance were the core drivers of the HSU’s evolution. Based on this, HSU’s programs integrated specialized academic rigor with the cultivation of independent thought, thereby empowering students to lead sustainable development in the context of global integration.

The AUN-QA Delegation noted significant institutional strengths during the three working days from December 16 to 18, 2025, particularly regarding HSU’s strategic approach to program organization and implementation.

Firstly, the training programs feature clear learning outcomes and a coherent, accessible structure that facilitates rigorous evaluation. These outcomes are continuously communicated and monitored through a contemporary management system, ensuring their effective delivery across every module.

Secondly, highly qualified faculty with deep practical insights direct these programs, complemented by dedicated academic advisors who provide steadfast guidance throughout the student journey.

Finally, the learning environment is enhanced by an advanced technology platform, enabling a seamless and proactive educational experience.

Concluding the evaluation session on the morning of December 18, 2025, Dr. Doan Ngoc Duy, HSU Vice President, stated:
“The feedback from the AUN-QA evaluation delegation not only enabled us to identify our established strengths clearly but also offered strategic recommendations for the upcoming phase of development”.
