THE “CHIEF ACCOUNTANT FOR A DAY” COMPETITION HAS RETURNED.

Have you ever been curious about what a Chief Accountant does in a day’s work?

Do you want to experience and understand more about this role in a business?

If the answer is “Yes,” then the “A Day as a Chief Accountant” competition is the opportunity for you to learn and experience!!!

The competition will provide you with real-life experience of the job through tasks and situations that they commonly encounter on a daily basis. You will be put in real-life situations and make decisions to solve accounting, financial, and tax issues.

This is an annual activity organized by the Accounting Department and the AAC Club for all students nationwide. Through this competition, not only will you gain valuable experiences and lessons, but it is also an opportunity for students from different universities to exchange knowledge and expand relationships.

Scope, participants, and language of the competition:

Scope of organization: Nationwide.

Participants: All individuals.

Field of study: All fields.

Language of the competition: English.

Characteristics and timing of the competition:

The competition consists of 3 rounds, from April 13, 2024, to May 19, 2024.

ROUND 1

Start of the competition: April 13, 2024 (9:00 AM)

End of the competition: April 14, 2024 (9:00 AM)

Form of the competition: Online multiple-choice.

Competition topics: Accounting, auditing, and taxation.

Participants: Individuals.

ROUND 2

Start of the competition: April 26, 2024 (9:00 AM)

End of the competition: April 28, 2024 (9:00 AM)

Form of the competition: Report writing, problem-solving Case Study.

Competition topics: Accounting, auditing, and taxation.

Participants: Groups of 3 to 5 students.

FINAL ROUND

Competition date: May 19, 2024 (8:00 AM-12:00 PM)

Form of the competition: Group presentation to the Board.

Competition topics: Accounting, auditing, and taxation.

Participants: Groups of 3 to 5 students, selected from the results of Rounds 1 and 2.

Number of groups: Five groups with the highest scores.

Prize structure:

First prize: 1 prize, worth 10,000,000 VND

Second prize: 1 prize, worth 5,000,000 VND

Third prize: 1 prize, worth 3,000,000 VND

Encouragement prize: 2 prizes, each worth 1,000,000 VND

In addition, the teams will receive many valuable scholarships from ACCA and SAPP, a certificate of participation in the competition, which serves as evidence for the Nhà Sen scholarship application, and a plus point for future job applications.

Note:

• The entire competition, from the multiple-choice test, the debate topic, and the final debate, is 100% in English.
• The winning teams, in addition to the cash prizes mentioned above, will also receive a certificate of participation in the “A Day as a Chief Accountant” competition.
• Participants will receive a certificate for each round they participate in.
• On April 11, 2024, we will close the registration link.
