RE-CAP KICK OFF CUỘC THI THE PROFESSIONAL ANALYST 2024
On April 6th, HFA Club had a kick-off event for “The Professional Analyst 2024” competition at Nguyen Van Trang Hall, attracting the participation of nearly 100 students and esteemed guests from securities companies and lecturers.
The event started with a warm welcome from the organizers and an inspiring speech by the Head of the Finance – Banking Department, Phung Thai Minh Trang, who emphasized the importance, benefits, and significance of the competition for the students.
The contestants were also introduced to a series of initial challenges, from multiple-choice rounds to solving complex case studies, all aimed at clarifying and understanding the competition format.
Furthermore, a highlight of the kick-off event was the practical sharing session on the topic “Building Investment Portfolio 2024” by guest speaker Duong Le Duy from MBS Securities Company, helping the students understand profound insights from macroeconomic data to industries and businesses, thereby enabling them to select potential industries and businesses for 2024.
Finally, the HFA club would like to thank the esteemed guests and students for attending the kick-off event. We hope that “The Professional Analyst 2024” competition can bring even more value to the Hoa Sen student community and students in the area!
Competition Schedule:
April 6, 2024 – Kick off The Professional Financial Analyst: Announcement and introduction of competition rules
April 20, 2024 – Round 1: Selection test – Online multiple-choice format (Individual)
April 27 – May 27, 2024 – Round 2: Announcement of round 2 exam – Report writing format (Team formation)
June 15, 2024 – Final Round: Presentation of investment perspectives to the judging panel & Award ceremony
