CMA CERTIFICATION

Dear students,

Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a prestigious global professional certification awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the most reputable professional organization in management accounting. With over 100 years of operation and more than 140,000 official members from over 150 countries, IMA is recognized worldwide.

CMA-certified professionals are ethical experts with extensive knowledge in financial planning, analysis, control, and decision support. They are highly sought after by multinational organizations and large corporations.

Hoa Sen University is one of the universities highly regarded by IMA and is granted 10 CMA scholarships annually.

Admission criteria:

• Students currently studying Accounting and Finance-Banking majors at the Faculty of Finance and Banking, with courses from 2020 to 2022. Graduated students are not eligible for the scholarship.
• GPA at the time of application must be 3.2 or above.
• Equivalent language certificate of IELTS 5.0.
• Membership in AAC, HFA, RIC, ZRC clubs, and participation in activities organized by the Faculty are advantages.

Scholarship amount: CMA Scholarship recipients have three years to excel in both parts of the CMA exam. This comprehensive benefit package allows students to study and take the CMA exam for free, including:

• Student membership status in IMA for three years.
• Participation fee for the CMA program.
• Exam Support Package – an assessment tool that helps evaluate the content covered in the CMA exam.
• Registration fee for the first attempt in both parts of the CMA exam.
• Evaluation materials from the course provider (All areas except China).

Application documents: A letter expressing the desire to study CMA in English (minimum 500 words), transcript (GPA), and language certificate.

Application period: from the announcement date until August 10, 2024.

Result announcement (expected): August 25, 2024.
