The GENDER TALK organizing committee of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Hoa Sen University (HSU) respectfully invites you to register to attend the seminar on Gender & Gender Equality – GENDER TALK #5.

PARTICIPANTS: HSU students, researchers, educators, psychologists, social work experts, university students, teachers high school students, and individuals interested in Gender & Gender Equality inside and outside the HSU community.
SPEAKER BRIEF
Mr. Nguyen Tan Thu is a medical doctor who graduated in 2010 and has a certificate in HIV diagnosis and treatment. Mr. Thu also participated in many trainings on counseling skills for people with HIV and community outreach and community research methods. He serves as a consultant for the PATH program and online consultation for people living with HIV for gay men.
SYNOPSIS
Ideally, all students would have access to sexual health education programming and information. Many students are still hesitant to share or discuss sexual health issues and when they are curious about it, they often ask friends or go to the Internet to find information. Because there is so much information online, this can lead to information being misleading and making it difficult to find what is useful and relevant. The purpose of Gender Talk #5 is to provide students with useful and relevant information, create a safe discussion environment for students, and raise awareness about gender diversity in the university environment.
