Hoa Sen University participated in the 9th Vietnam Mathematics Congress 2018
The Vietnam Mathematics Congress is the largest scientific activity of the Vietnamese mathematics community; it is an important event of the Vietnam Mathematics Association on a national scale that takes place every 5 years. The Congress is a forum for mathematics researchers, applications, and teachers nationwide to present their scientific results over the past 5 years. This is also an opportunity for the mathematics community to exchange and discuss urgent current issues in the country’s mathematics development: the reduction of Mathematics subjects in university training programs, multiple-choice exams in Mathematics in general programs…
The summary report of the Mathematics Association shows the outstanding and solid development of the country’s mathematics. In the past 5 years, the number of articles published internationally in prestigious journals by Vietnamese mathematicians has been 2.7 times higher than in the previous 5 years. Many young mathematicians born after 1980 have published articles. in leading magazines.
Attending the IX Vietnam Mathematics Congress-2018 taking place from August 14-18 in Nha Trang, Hoa Sen University presented 2 research results in the field of Mathematical foundations for information technology by Associate Professor. Dr. Tran Dan Thu and Lie algebra theory of PhD research group. Duong Quang Hoa, PhD. Pham Ngoc Anh and Lam Quoc Dung. We met leading professors such as Professor. Ngo Bao Chau, Professor. Le Tu Quoc Thang, Professor. Do Duc Thai, Professor. Ngo Viet Trung,… exchanged expertise, and received valuable suggestions for research direction and publication of scientific results as well as their applications.
