About the speaker – Dr. Duong Ngoc Dung, Director of Philosophy Program, Hoa Sen University

Dr. Duong Ngoc Dung graduated with a Master’s in East Asian Studies from Harvard University in 1995 and received a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Boston University in 2001. At Paris University, he taught in Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Cross-Cultural Management.

Dr. Duong Ngoc Dung also participates in teaching soft skills such as logical thinking, critical thinking, presentation, effective communication, and negotiation for many businesses and non-governmental organizations.

About the Philosophy for Entrepreneurs course – Philosophy for Entrepreneurs

The course provides an outline of the basic concepts, categories, and topics of philosophy, to help entrepreneurs have an overview of human life and worldview. The course also discusses key topics of East-West philosophy, opening up a new approach to polygonal thinking. From there, learners can identify principles of persuasion from a philosophical perspective on the main basis of applied philosophy.

After completing the course, students will receive knowledge of ancient and modern philosophical achievements with a new mindset and gain a panoramic view of the future of philosophy. Besides, learners will improve their values, applying them to individuals, businesses, and their careers towards a prosperous community.
