Writing Scientific Reports: A Workshop to Enhance Research Skills
As part of the ongoing scientific research workshop series for students, the eighth workshop, “Writing Scientific Reports,” aims to strengthen students’ proficiency in communicating research findings with clarity, coherence, and academic rigor.
At the workshop, Dr. Dinh Thi Thuy Hang, Faculty of Business, will provide guidance on the structure of a complete scientific report, covering key sections such as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. In addition, she will share essential principles of clear, concise, and objective academic writing, along with practical techniques for presenting data and research findings effectively through tables, charts, and annotations.
Furthermore, participants will learn how to cite sources correctly, avoid plagiarism, and refine your reports through systematic editing, from improving logical flow to polishing grammar and presentation.
As the concluding session of the student scientific research workshop series, this workshop offers valuable guidance to help students strengthen your research projects and confidently present your academic work.
