Training Session: Developing and Evaluating Digital Competence in the Training Program

In response to the strong impact of digital transformation on higher education, Hoa Sen University is prioritizing digital literacy to help lecturers and students adapt to modern teaching methods. The Office of Testing –  Quality Assurance and the Faculty of Information Technology collaborated to host a specialized training session for staff and lecturers. The session focused on:

“Developing and Evaluating Digital Competence in the Training Program”

Details:

  • Understanding the concept and structure of a digital competency framework;
  • Applying technology in designing digital learning materials and open resources;
  • Designing and applying digital competency assessment tools for learners.

Purpose: The training session is an opportunity for teaching staff to improve their skills in applying digital technology for teaching and assessment, including:

  • Grasping the basic concepts and structures of the digital competency framework;
  • Familiarizing themselves with tools for designing digital learning materials and open resources; and,
  • Approaching digital competency assessment through illustrative activities.

Distinguished speakers:

  • MA. Bui Ngoc Le, Program Director of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Information Technology; and,
  • MA. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thanh, Program Director of Management Information Systems, Faculty of Information Technology.
