Strengthening Intercultural Communication for Global Careers with US Consulate Experts
In the context of global integration, intercultural communication extends beyond linguistic competence to encompass the understanding, respect, and flexible adaptation to diverse cultural values. This competency is essential for individuals to enhance work effectiveness, establish sustainable relationships, and demonstrate their capabilities in international settings.
Recognizing the importance of global communication skills, the English Language Studies Program, in partnership with the Institute of International Education and Global Engagement, the HSU General English Program, and RELO – U.S. Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, proudly presented ENGPOWER Workshop Series – Episode 2: “Intercultural Communication Competence in the International Workplace”.

Mr. Oronde N. Freeman, U.S. Department of State English Language Fellow and representative of RELO Vietnam.
With over a decade of professional experience in language instruction and international education, he will provide in-depth and practical perspectives on intercultural communication, supporting Vietnamese students in developing the competencies needed for confident global integration.
