Building on the success of “From Data to Reporting: Guide to Quantitative Analysis with SPSS”, the Institute of Graduate Studies and Leadership is pleased to announce the next workshop in its research training series: “SmartPLS for Quantitative Research”. This workshop is designed to address expanding research requirements and enhance the academic and analytical competencies of faculty and students at undergraduate and graduate levels.

In quantitative business research, linear structural modeling serves as an advanced method for validating models and assessing relationships between variables. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), executed through Smart PLS, is especially advantageous when dealing with complex data or limited sample sizes, making it a highly adaptable and widely adopted analytical approach.

The workshop delivers a practical “understand – do – apply” approach, guiding learners step-by-step in using the software so they can confidently apply PLS-SEM in their academic or research work.

Speakers: Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duong, Head of the Office of Research Affairs – Science Journal, Hoa Sen University. He has authored more than 20 articles in WoS/Scopus journals.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Understand PLS-SEM principles and analytical logic;
  • Run models directly in SmartPLS; and,
  • Interpret and present results with academic clarity.

*Note: Please bring a laptop with SmartPLS installed for the practical activities.
