Seminar: School Psychology in Action: Identifying and Supporting Student Behavior
In celebration of World Mental Health Month, with the message “Mental health is the foundation of happiness and development”, the Institute of Psychology at Hoa Sen University (HSU) proudly presents a seminar titled “School Psychology in Action: Identifying and Supporting Student Behavior”.
The seminar is organized to:
- Learn from experts in Educational and Clinical Psychology and explore current school psychology practices in Viet Nam;
- Develop skills to identify and intervene early in student behavioral issues;
- Engage in discussion on psychological challenges and effective intervention strategies for school-aged students.
Not only does this seminar provide HSU students with a chance to enhance their professional knowledge, but it also offers opportunities to:
- Deepen their understanding of the role of school psychologists in building safe and positive learning environments;
- Foster humanistic values and spread the message “For students’ mental health, for the future of Vietnamese education”.
Distinguished speaker: MA. Tran Thi Ngoc Tuyen, Master of Clinical Psychology and Principal of Viet Anh Primary School (Viet Anh Inter-level System).
Bringing over 15 years of experience in education management and development, she has led as Director of Human Resources and Academic Director of the SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) program, the figure that helps students build emotional intelligence and social skills for real-world success.
Through this program series, the HSU Institute of Psychology hopes to empower students to connect, collaborate, and grow into compassionate, human-centered professionals.
