Workshop 3: Advancing Research Development in the New Era
Continuing the series of workshops on scientific research development at Hoa Sen University, the Office of Research Affairs – Scientific Journal cordially invites all lecturers and staff to attend Workshop 3, themed: “Advancing Research at Hoa Sen University in the New Era”.
Workshop 3 aims to analyze strategies for advancing scientific research in alignment with the university’s policy system and operational mechanisms in the new phase. Also, the workshop examines the draft of the new research regulations in relation to previous policies, thereby highlighting key breakthroughs in research governance, particularly in resource allocation, incentive mechanisms, and quality assurance.
A key emphasis of the workshop is the transfer and application of research outcomes, identified as a central pillar for building genuine internal capacity and academic excellence. Moreover, research outputs should extend beyond publication to integration in training, alignment with practice, and the creation of sustainable value.
At the same time, the workshop presents the university’s strategies to support faculty members and faculties/departments through appropriate research development models, to enable broad participation and foster meaningful enhancement of research capabilities.
Through this platform, the workshop clarifies Hoa Sen University’s ranking goals for the next five years at national, regional, continental, and global levels, grounded in sustained effort, substantive quality, and consistent performance.
Furthermore, it shapes strategic directions and establishes a foundation for effective policy implementation, driving sustainable development and enhancing the University’s academic standing. As a result, research activities and institutional policies for faculty and researchers can be designed and implemented more effectively and efficiently.
