ASIIN – Technical Program Accreditation

On April 10, 2025, Hoa Sen University (HSU) officially achieved institutional accreditation under European university quality standards from ASIIN (Germany). This makes HSU the first private university and the second university in Viet Nam to receive this prestigious international accreditation. This marks a significant stride in HSU’s journey towards international stature, achieved by fulfilling all four criteria: Governance and Strategic Objectives, Study Programmes and Student Support, Resource Management and Staff Development, and Transparency and Documentation System.

Advantages of studying an accredited program

  • HSU students have a clear competitive advantage in the domestic and international labor market. Over 95% of HSU students from the Class of 2024 secured employment immediately after graduation. They were highly regarded by employers, who valued their initiative, specialized knowledge, and ability to integrate into the workplace.  
  • Students will have increased opportunities to receive international scholarships, credit transfer, and participate in the international exchange program recognized by schools in Europe.
  • The implementation of ASIIN accreditation contributes to HSU’s Expanding Cooperation with prestigious universities in Europe, attracting partners, international students, and businesses to cooperate in training and recruitment.

AUN-QA – Evaluating Education

By 2025, HSU has been steadily progressing toward having 12 majors certified by AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance). The Faculty of Design and Arts has already received certifications for three programs: Graphic Design, Fashion Design, and Interior Design. From objectives and design to teaching, testing, and learning outcomes, the program is comprehensively evaluated via a closed process.
