From a Marketing Student Student Behind HSU’s Events to a Production Staff of Running Man Vietnam Season 3
Ms. Tran Ha Ai Vy, an enthusiastic fourth-year Marketing student at HSU, has played key roles in over 20 influential events, showing her commitment both at the university and in the wider community. With her initiative and diverse experiences, she joined the communications team at Forest Studio, the production company behind many well-known programs: Running Man Vietnam Season 3, Xuan Ha Thu Dong Roi Lai Xuan, Mui Vi Nhung Chuyen Di…
The Journey from High School to a Thriving Marketing major
Since high school, Ai Vy has been a highly involved student, known for her dedication to organizing and participating in various events, including her role as a member of the UP NK’s Media Club. Vy’s dream of studying Marketing at Hoa Sen University (HSU) was ignited during a campus tour, after she witnessed the professionalism of students at a fair they had organized.

“My first time attending a student-organized event was a truly impressive experience. The high quality of the event convinced me that HSU provides the ideal environment for me to develop my skills”, Vy commented.
After enrolling at HSU, she quickly found her place at the university. She became an active member of the M-CLOWNS (Drama Club) and the Executive Committee of her faculty’s Youth Union, continuously challenging herself with new positions. She also contributed to over 20 university events, showcasing her versatility by taking on roles from media and organizing to MC.

For two consecutive years (2024-2025), she served as the Head of the Organizing Committee for the MiCatcher contest, a nationwide competition organized by the Faculty of Marketing – Communication to discover talented MCs. For her, MiCatcher was not only a personal achievement but also a testament to the solidarity and creativity of the faculty’s student community.
“Organizing events is demanding work, a constant race against deadlines that involves burning the midnight oil and being up at the crack of dawn. Yet, those challenging moments become our most precious memories. When a program concludes, the immense joy we feel comes not only from the achievements but also from the friendship, companionship, and new lessons learned along the way. That feeling of happiness when an event is successful is the constant motivation that makes all the hard work worthwhile”.

With her tireless efforts, the female student has achieved many results. Beyond earning the title of Five-Merit Student at the university level, she also received a Certificate for her excellent completion of student and association work during the 2023–2025 term. She was further recognized with a Certificate for her outstanding achievements in student and association work from the Ho Chi Minh City Student Association for the 2023–2024 academic year.
Additionally, she was awarded the Sen Cong Hien Scholarship for 2024–2025. Above all, Ai Vy emphasized that true success was not found in personal glory, but in the positive values and contributions that she gave back after every event. “I believe that organizing activities is about more than just creating events; it’s about building an environment where other students can grow. When students gain new skills and form lasting bonds, we know our efforts have truly been a success”, she claimed.
A Model of Courageous Marketing Students
Beyond event organization, Ai Vy is also a successful competitor. Most notably, she advanced to the Top 6 in TVCreate 2022, a Marketing and TVC Creation competition.
Since her second year, she has proactively sought out internships to complement her Marketing major’s practical foundation. This has led to positions at large companies like Innovative Hub and Admicro VCCorp.
When choosing a career, she prioritizes professional alignment and personal development above all else. Because she thought a meaningful job was a platform for learning, practice, and personal growth, ultimately advancing her career.

Her professional perspective, combined with extensive experience and a clear sense of self-direction, helped her impress employers, leading to her transition from an intern to an official employee at Forest Studio. In this role, she leveraged her creative strengths while learning to manage digital media content, coordinate seamlessly with the production team, and work effectively in a high-pressure environment. Vy’s professional experience included being involved from the first recording stage of the “Running Man Vietnam” season 3.
Despite facing challenges such as tight deadlines and technical issues, she remained proactive, always finding solutions to complete tasks in the best way possible. For her, every experience, from class and HSU events to her work at the company, served as a valuable lesson that helped build a solid foundation.
With her courage, confidence, and persistent learning spirit, Ai Vy is a testament to the image of an energetic HSU Marketing student: dynamic, comprehensive, and ready to conquer all challenges of the labor market.
