HSU Summer 2025 International Experience: A Unique Opportunity to Connect – Learn – Grow Holistically for HSU Students

Summer 2025 marks an exciting and inspiring new chapter of international experiences for students of Hoa Sen University (HSU) and young people across Vietnam.
This is a valuable opportunity for HSU students to immerse themselves in diverse cultures, broaden their global perspective, and strengthen essential skills for international integration—key elements in their journey to becoming global citizens.

In collaboration with international educational organizations, the Vietnam Youth Support Center is launching three unique exchange and summer camp programs in Japan, Thailand, and South Korea. These out-of-classroom experiences are designed to expose students to real-world international environments, enhance soft skills, foster intercultural communication, and build the confidence to thrive in a globalized world.

1. Youth Summer Camp in Japan

Time: August 4 – 11, 2025

Location: Gunma, Japan

Participants: Students (aged 12–30) who are able to communicate in either English or Japanese.

The summer camp program in Japan offers participants a unique opportunity to:

  • Experience local life through homestays, living and cooking with Japanese host families.
  • Take part in outdoor adventures such as hiking Mount Akagi, camping, and canoeing.
  • Explore traditional Japanese culture through activities like Kendo (Japanese martial art), calligraphy, and culinary workshops.
  • Engage in international exchange and develop creative thinking through workshops, team games, and cultural night events.
  • Participate in community service and gain insights into local sustainable development models.

At the end of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion issued by the organizing body in Japan.

2. Vietnam – Thailand Youth Exchange 2025

Time: June 4 – 10, 2025

Location: Bangkok and nearby provinces, Thailand

Participants: Young people (aged 18–25) with proficient English skills.

Highlight Activities:

  • Meet with Thai government leaders and engage in youth exchange with local Thai peers.
  • Learn basic Thai language and experience local culture firsthand.
  • Visit iconic landmarks such as the Grand Palace and Siam Museum.
  • Explore Thailand’s tech and media landscape at True Digital Park and Thai PBS Broadcasting Station.
  • Enjoy a homestay experience with a Thai family to gain deeper insight into the local lifestyle.

Participants will receive a certificate issued by the Thai Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.

3. Korea Youth Exchange Program

Time: June 18 – 24, 2025

Location: Daejeon, Gongju and Seoul, South Korea

Participants: Youth (aged 14–20) with good communication skills in English or Korean.

  • Engage in cultural exchange with Korean students and the Vietnamese student community in South Korea.
  • Visit the Embassy of Vietnam in South Korea and learn about diplomatic activities.
  • Explore cultural and technological experiences at various innovation centers.
  • Tour famous landmarks and take part in daily life with local residents.

This program offers a valuable opportunity for students to enhance their international communication skills and gain firsthand exposure to Korean culture.
