HSU x TLS Asia: Upgrading Practice Facilities to International Excellence

On April 15, 2025, the Faculty of Hospitality of Hoa Sen University officially signed an MOU with TLS-ASIA Co. Ltd., marking a significant step toward upgrading the housekeeping practice room to align with global hospitality standards.

The MOU signing ceremony was marked by the presence of representatives from Hoa Sen University’s Faculty of Hospitality: Dr. Truong Thi Hong Minh, Dean; MSc. Lam Thi Thanh Van, Vice Dean; and MSc. Vong Chanh Kieu, Program Director of Hotel Management. On the business side, TLS-ASIA Co. Ltd. was represented by Mr. Elvin Chong, Director, and Ms. Le Huynh Hiep, Business Unit Manager.

Thanks to the partnership with TLS Asia, the practice room is now fully equipped with modern facilities that simulate 5-star hotel management and operational standards. More than just a training space, it serves as a realistic laboratory where students can experience the entire business operation cycle, from mastering detailed skills such as towel and bed arrangement to practicing service quality management, problem-solving, and interdepartmental coordination.

This partnership offers three core values to HSU students:

• Learning from International Standards: Beyond learning basic operations, students are exposed to international room management standards, helping them quickly adapt and thrive in hotels across Viet Nam and around the world;
• Professional and Soft Skills Development: Consistent practice in a realistic hotel simulation enables students to strengthen their discipline, teamwork, and customer service skills, essential traits that make them stand out to employers;

• Enhancing Career Competitiveness After Graduation: Students with extensive practical experience are well-positioned to attract potential employers and confidently pursue entrepreneurship in the fields of service, tourism, and hospitality.
