Vietcap and HSU Team Up to Create New Career Paths for Students

In the context of strong digital transformation, Hoa Sen University has officially partnered with Vietcap Securities Joint Stock Company. This collaboration marks a significant step in the university’s journey to create new learning, practical experience, and career opportunities for students of the Faculty of Finance – Banking.

Bridging Theory and Practice

On May 14, 2025, an MOU was officially signed between Hoa Sen University (HSU) and Vietcap Securities Joint Stock Company (Vietcap), a leader in Viet Nam’s finance and securities investment sector. The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Nguyen Hoang Group, HSU university leaders, and business representatives.

With the financial market constantly fluctuating, integrating business into our training process is crucial. This approach ensures our curriculum stays up-to-date and provides students with a dynamic environment to develop essential skills like analytical thinking, adaptability, and professional expertise. This is how HSU proactively builds a comprehensive learning ecosystem, ensuring every practical experience contributes to shaping students’ long-term career paths.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phung Thai Minh Trang, Head of the Faculty of Finance – Banking, emphasized: “We believe that early exposure to the corporate environment will help students cultivate strong analytical and decision-making skills, along with invaluable practical experience. Today’s event is not only a signing ceremony, but also the starting point for a long-term cooperation series between HSU and Vietcap, aiming at comprehensively developing students’ capacity”.

Through their partnership, HSU and Vietcap will collaborate on a variety of activities, including:

• Sponsoring scholarship programs and academic competitions for Finance – Banking students;
• Supporting Equipment and expertise for the finance lab and investment at HSU;
• Operating the “Talented Students” program while offering students paid internships and direct mentorship from Vietcap experts;
• Sharing teaching resources to improve the quality of training in finance and banking.

Strong career connections

Representatives from Vietcap, Ms. Chau Thien Truc Quynh, Managing Director and Head of Investment Advisory, emphasized that: “This cooperation is designed to create comprehensive learning and professional development opportunities for students. Through this partnership, we not only seek talented employees but also aim to nurture their potential while they are still in school. We hope this cooperation will be strengthened to bring long-term value to both sides”.
