In the context of the constantly fluctuating global financial market, the need for a generation of finance – accounting – banking experts with solid professional capacity, flexible adaptability skills, and an integration mindset is becoming increasingly urgent. The Faculty of Finance – Banking of Hoa Sen University was established to meet that trend, with the orientation of becoming a high-quality training unit in the field of Business and Financial management.
The Faculty of Finance and Banking offers three training programs: Finance – Banking, Accounting, and Financial Technology (Fintech). Two of these three programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) (USA). The faculty’s goal is to provide students with a solid academic foundation that is closely linked to business practices.

Particularly, many academic competitions and scientific research projects are organized by students: “One Day as a Chief Accountant”, “Behind the Data”, and “The Professional Financial Analyst”, helping students intensively develop their professional skills, analytical thinking, and career competency in the context of a constantly changing market.
Furthermore, Hoa Sen University’s lecturers are trained in leading global education systems from the USA, UK, Australia, France, Japan, New Zealand, … with rich practical experience from key positions in banks, auditing, securities, and finance companies. The combination of professional background and practical experience of lecturers creates academic depth, inspiration, and clear career orientation for students.
In addition to teaching activities, the Faculty of Finance – Banking maintains a close network of cooperation with international professional organizations, including ACCA (UK) and CPA (Australia). Through this strategic partnership, students not only gain access to international standard competency frameworks, but they also receive tuition exemptions for professional exams. They are exempted from 4 of 13 courses for the ACCA exam and 5 or 6 of 12 courses for the CPA (Australia) certificate. This creates a clear competitive advantage for Hoa Sen University students when entering the domestic and foreign labor market.
According to June 2025 statistics from the Center of Student Experience and Employment at HSU, the Accounting program recorded a 100% employment rate, with 50% of graduates working in international and foreign-owned businesses. Furthermore, the Finance & Banking major also received an employment rate of up to 93%.
