EURÉKA Final 2024: A Showcase of HSU’s Future Finance Leaders

Congratulations to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thuan Thien from the Faculty of Finance – Banking for his outstanding achievement in winning the Encouragement Prize in Economics at the 2024 Euréka Student Scientific Research Award.

HSU students shine at the nation’s biggest academic contest

Euréka is not only an academic competition, but also a “launching pad” for innovative ideas, creativity, and the research spirit of students. This year’s contest received over 2,000 entries from across the country, but only 187 works were selected for an honor. Thuan Thien’s topic was among the winning entries: “Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure and Firm Value in Vietnam: Evidence from the Consumer Goods Industry”.

Under the professional guidance of Dr. Phan Tran Minh Hung, the topic highlighted the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate value, focusing on the Vietnamese consumer market, an area of increasing importance for businesses’ sustainable development strategies.

Applying proactive research, innovation, and integration

For many years, Hoa Sen University (HSU) has clearly defined its values of “Experiential learning” not only in the training process but also in experiential activities, scientific articles, critical thinking, and practical application.
