One of the most attractive features of studying Chinese at Hoa Sen University is the innovative 4+[2+2] model, offering students a comprehensive international learning and working journey. Students study 4 years in Vietnam, and upon graduation, have the opportunity to continue 2 years in Taiwan, completely free to earn a second bachelor’s degree. Additionally, students gain 2 years of internship and work experience there.

During their studies, students will keep pace with modern trends, particularly by enhancing their language skills across various fields and engaging in a wide range of cultural activities connected to practical experiences from their first year. Notably, students have opportunities to participate in international collaborative projects, academic clubs, cultural experience activities, workshops, academic competitions, serve as teaching assistants for community Chinese classes, and gain internship experience at companies.

Global Partnerships and Career Opportunities

Recently, the Faculty of Languages – International Cultures has collaborated with numerous universities and businesses in Taiwan and China, as well as the Taiwan External Trade Development Council. Thanks to these partnerships, students have the opportunity to participate in academic exchange programs, exchange semesters, short-term courses, international summer camps, internships, and more. Through these experiences, they engage with an international learning environment, strengthen their Chinese language skills, and broaden their cultural and social understanding.
