Over 1,000 students immersed themselves in a “multicultural universe” at Culture Day 2025

With over 1,000 university and high school students participating, Culture Day 2025, organized by HSU’s Faculty of Languages – International Cultures, has become a signature event that reflects the spirit of integration and multiculturalism in both academic activities and student experiences at HSU.

Culture Day 2025 – A Space of Global Cultural Exchange

Culture Day is an annual cultural experience festival organized by the Faculty of Languages – International Cultures. Designed as a model of intercultural education, the event offers students not only knowledge of language and culture through theory but also opportunities to experience, interact, and practice in a real-world environment.

With 15 booths representing different cultures, students and pupils had the opportunity to:

• Experience both tangible and intangible cultures through traditional cuisine, ethnic costumes, and cultural symbols from various countries;
• Take part in language exchange activities and explore the unique traditions, beliefs, and lifestyles of different countries;
• Develop intercultural communication skills – one of the core competencies in today’s globalized context.

A highlight of the program was the vibrant series of multilingual art performances, ranging from traditional dance and music to modern choreography. Adding to the excitement, the Cosplay Contest drew enthusiastic participation from high school and university students. Through their creative costumes, participants not only showcased their passion for international cultures but also demonstrated their understanding and adaptability to global diversity.

These activities went beyond mere entertainment, opening a space for cultural discourse where young people engage with the world through their attire, visuals, and creative ideas. Each performance became a form of storytelling through culture, reflecting the distinct, independent, and proactive perspectives of the new generation in an ever-connected and evolving world.

The event connected students with an internationally-standard learning environment

Culture Day 2025 also served as a bridge between general education and higher education, giving high school students a vivid and practical insight into the language programs at Hoa Sen University. At the event, they had the opportunity to

• Receive in-depth guidance on internationalized programs such as Chinese, Korean, and English Languages, featuring an integrated curriculum of language, culture, practical experience, and global career orientation.
• Learn about international partnership programs and collaborative scholarships, particularly from strategic partners such as the Chinese Consulate General, the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, and universities in South Korea, China, and Taiwan.
• Participate in career orientation and personal development sessions by meeting faculty members, current students, and academic advisors from the Faculty of International Languages and Cultures.

A highlight of the program was the scholarship presentation from the Chinese Consulate General for HSU students with outstanding academic achievements. This serves as concrete evidence of the university’s efforts to internationalize its programs and its ability to connect with organizations and foreign agencies.

Through the event, Hoa Sen University reaffirmed its vision to become a leading institution in Business, Management, Technology, and Creativity, training comprehensive human resources to meet the demands of both regional and international labor markets.
