A Collaborative Classroom Experience Between Hoa Sen and Chung-Ang University (Korea)
On January 15th, 2025, Hoa Sen University welcomed Chung-Ang University students for a study exchange. During the Winter Program, they are immersed in the curriculum of the Faculty of Logistics – International Trade.
Connecting multinational knowledge through the class “Sea Transport”
After the signing of a cooperation agreement (MOU) between Hoa Sen University (HSU) and Chung-Ang University, the Faculty of Logistics – International Trade welcomed Chung-Ang students and lecturers to participate in the Winter Program academic exchange.

This activity is part of the training program of International Logistics – Chung-Ang University, and is also a part of the Annual International Exchange Program of the Faculty of Logistics – International Trade, aiming to train a generation of students with in-depth knowledge and global thinking.
A key highlight of the exchange was the specialized “Sea Transport” class, led by MA. Tran Thi Truc Lan, Program Director of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management, promoted a dynamic, collaborative learning environment. Students from both universities learned about the practical aspects of water transport, including an overview of sea transport methods, how to sign a ship charter contract, and business operations.

During the lesson, beyond theoretical knowledge, students participated in interactive activities like group discussions, case reviews, and real-situation analyses. This hands-on approach enhances the applicability of their skills in a multicultural setting.
Upon completing the program, Chung-Ang students will be presented with a certificate from the Dean of the Faculty of Logistics – International Trade at HSU, honoring their academic achievement and active involvement.
International orientation in Logistics training at HSU
Beyond just expanding professional knowledge, the session fostered connections and a vibrant exchange of ideas among students from both countries. This dynamic collaboration created a lively and interactive classroom environment for teachers and students alike.

Lee Geon Ho, Chun-Ang student, noted: “The Sea Freight class was incredibly engaging. We covered key topics like Incoterms and Bills of Lading, and the lecturer provided a deep dive into the practical uses of different types of B/L. The lecturer’s creative quizzes were a great way to review, ensuring everyone participated and understood the material.
Organizing specialized classes for international students clearly demonstrates HSU’s commitment to global education and its focus on preparing students for international integration. These classes not only give HSU students access to modern knowledge but also help them improve their language skills and cross-cultural communication, creating a strong foundation for a global Logistics career.

The training program offers international students a rich cultural and academic experience in Viet Nam, which helps to promote a positive and professional image of HSU students to their international peers.
