The global economic structure is being reshaped by globalization and digital transformation, which are fundamentally changing how commerce operates, supply chains are managed, and user experiences are optimized on e-commerce platforms. The demand for professionals with deep expertise, technical proficiency, and an adaptive mindset has never been more critical in a world driven by rapid technological change.

Viet Nam is witnessing strong growth in key fields like Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, and E-commerce. According to the e-Conomy SEA 2024 report, the e-commerce GMV reached $22 billion, marking an 18% growth compared to 2023. In recent years, the Logistics industry has grown by approximately 14% to 16% annually, reaching a value of around US$40 to US$42 billion per year. This growth has established the sector as a key strategic link in the global supply chain, which indicates highly promising career prospects.

To address this trend, the Faculty of Logistics – International Trade developed three majors that are both internationally standardized and aligned with the demands of the labor market:

• Logistics and Supply Chain Management major;
• International Business;
• Electronic Commerce (E-commerce).

Our programs are designed to be efficient, equipping students with the skills to excel in key functions. They learn to operate supply chain systems and e-commerce platforms, and develop digital thinking to manage business activities effectively.  The curriculum provides a comprehensive understanding, from UX optimization to digital product management.

Furthermore, the learning curriculum integrates new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), automation with Python, and no-code app creation platforms like AppSheet. This innovative approach empowers students to independently create their own business tools, eliminating their reliance on programmers. Moreover, the program also focuses on equipping students with foreign language skills, helping them integrate into the global working environment.

The Faculty of Logistics – International Trade has a team of lecturers with rich practical experience, who were trained at prestigious universities in both Viet Nam and abroad. This combination of academic and professional expertise helps students meet the rigorous requirements of the global labor market.

Logistics and Supply Chain Management students gain a major advantage by graduating with both a Bachelor’s degree and the globally recognized FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding. Additionally, students across all majors have valuable opportunities to participate in academic competitions and specialized projects, such as the International Trade Arena or events organized by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM). These experiences serve as a crucial launching pad, allowing students to practice their skills, affirm their abilities, and proactively shape their career paths.

The Faculty maintains an extensive network of cooperation with numerous prestigious enterprises and organizations. The network comprises major partners, including Tan Cang – STC Human Resource Development Company and the Vietnam Logistics Research and Development Institute (VLI), as well as over 50 other businesses that specialize in import-export, international trade, and both domestic and foreign port systems.

In addition, the Faculty is an affiliated partner of VECOM, a national organization that connects the country’s leading digital businesses and human resources. Thanks to this, students have the opportunity to participate. Real field trips and experience internship right from school.

According to a June 2025 survey by the HSU Center of Student Experience and Employment, an overwhelming majority of students had secured jobs before graduation, including 97% of E-commerce, 95% of International Business, and 94% of Logistics & Supply Chain Management students. Remarkably, 30% of students are employed by international and foreign-invested enterprises, a clear testament to the competitive advantage these industries hold in the labor market.
