The program provides an in-depth knowledge system of the law of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) such as the CPTPP and EVFTA, and international investment law. Students will master the legal frameworks governing the international sale of goods, international carriage of goods, insurance, and international payments. Emphasis is placed on the capacity for comparative legal research across different jurisdictions to provide a foundation for the execution of global business operations.
Practical skills
The program focuses on the comprehensive development of international contract negotiation skills, legal consultancy for International Commercial Arbitration, and litigation skills in trade remedy cases. Students are trained in the proficiency of drafting legal documents in English, conducting risk assessments for foreign investment, and addressing legal issues arising from cross-border e-commerce.
