Inaugurating the Moot Courtroom to Elevate the Quality of Law Programs
On the morning of January 21, 2025, the Faculty of Law – Psychology at Hoa Sen University (HSU) officially launched the Moot Courtroom—a professional courtroom simulation model equipped with modern facilities that meet the practical standards of the legal discipline.
The ceremony was honored to welcome representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice, Bar Associations, and leading law firms from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. HSU was represented by the leadership from various faculties and institutes, lecturers, and students.

The Moot Courtroom is designed as a miniature courtroom, allowing students in Law and Economic Law to directly experience the trial process by taking on roles such as Judge, Prosecutor, Lawyer, Court Clerk, and Defendant. Through these simulated situations, students can hone their legal thinking and their skills in reasoning, advocacy, and critical argumentation under the guidance of experienced lecturers and lawyers.

With its modern equipment and authentic courtroom environment, the HSU Faculty of Law – Psychology’s practice room provides a professional learning space. It will not only be used for specialized courses like Civil Procedure Law, Criminal Law and Procedure, Labor Law, and Advocacy Skills, but is also expected to become a venue for academic competitions, mock trials, and academic exchanges with law students in the region

Signing Strategic Partnerships – Expanding Career Opportunities for Law Students
During the same event, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between Hoa Sen University and its partners was successfully held. This marked a crucial step in building a strong cooperative relationship between the Faculty of Law – Psychology and businesses and professional organizations in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby provinces:
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice; The Ba Ria-Vung Tau Bar Association; Nhung Nguyen Law Firm; Infiniti Vietnam Law Firm; 3 Chung Law Firm; Ngoc Son and Partner Law Firm; HTMA Tax Agent Company

These cooperation agreements are an important foundation for implementing specialized internship programs, professional exchanges, scientific research, and sharing career experiences among the University, students, and businesses. Through these partnerships, students will have the opportunity to gain practical professional experience, develop their skills, and expand their employment prospects after graduation.

With this solid foundation, the Faculty of Law – Psychology will continue to develop a wide-ranging network of professional connections, accompanying students on their journey to becoming legal experts who are sound in their professional knowledge, rich in legal ethics, and ready to actively contribute to the development of Vietnam’s legal system.
