Overview

In the context of society’s increasing concern for justice, human rights and mental health, the demand for high-quality legal and psychological human resources is increasing rapidly. Responding to that trend, the Faculty of Law – Psychology, Hoa Sen University is the “academic destination” chosen by the young generation, equipped with a solid academic foundation and practical application capacity when entering the business environment.

Currently, the Faculty of Law – Psychology implements 3 training programs, including: Law, Economic Law and Psychology approaching global career trends. Different from the traditional training model focusing on theory, we focus on practical experience and high applicability for students, specifically:

• Participate in professional experiences, interact with industry experts at judicial agencies, law firms, psychological counseling centers, etc.
• Practice professional skills through mock trials at Ho Chi Minh City People’s Courts, HSU Trial Practice Room, HSU Psychology Institute.
• Specialized courses are taught in English to improve Hoa Sen students’ ability to integrate into the global working environment.

The Faculty of Law and Psychology is proud of its faculty members who graduated from prestigious universities at home and abroad, with extensive working experience in courts, law firms, therapy centers, etc. Lecturers not only play the role of teachers but also guides, accompanying students in developing their expertise and professional qualities.

One of the highlights of the Faculty of Law – Psychology is the highly simulated training facilities. The Trial Practice Room is designed as a miniature court, allowing students to directly experience the trial process right at the School. For the Psychology major, the Institute of Psychology creates a space for students to have practical contact with psychological cases and intervention models under professional guidance.

The way the classroom is organized also goes against the traditional lecture hall model: There is no podium, instead there is an open space, encouraging students to express their personal opinions, discuss and debate together to find the best solution. The small class size of about 30 students helps learners easily interact with the lecturer.
