At Hoa Sen University, the Fashion Design program connects learning with practice by organizing regular field trips, giving students the chance to experience real business operations, and catch up with the latest industry trends.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Retail Operations Exploration at ACFC Warehouse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In October 2023, students from the Fashion Design program at Hoa Sen University (HSU) had the opportunity to visit Warehouse Company, one of the largest warehouse systems in the fashion retail industry in Viet Nam. During this field trip, they gained practical experience at ACFC Company Limited’s expansive warehouse, which spans over 12,000 square meters in Binh Duong Province, and observed the product import and storage processes firsthand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, students gained insights into goods management through the barcode system, the inbound process, and methods of classification and quantity control. Furthermore, business representatives also shared the warehouse \u201cpicking\u201d process and techniques for distinguishing between fast-moving and slow-moving products. These hands-on insights gave students a deeper understanding of fashion retail operations and highlighted the value of experiential learning<\/strong> at HSU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exposure to New Technology at the International Textile Exhibition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On October 28, 2025, students from HSU’s Fashion Design program attended the 21st Vietnam International Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition (VTG) held at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. This invaluable experience allowed them to explore the latest machinery and equipment within the textile and garment industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event brought together over 500 businesses from 12 countries to promote the modernization of the textile and garment industry. This provided students with exposure to new technologies in fields such as textile production, raw materials, chemical dyeing, and footwear equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the event\u2019s framework, MA. Tran Minh Nhut<\/strong> addressed the VTEX-TECH conference on sustainable design in the textile industry. His presentation helped students gain deeper insight into development trends that prioritize environmental and social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integration of Theory and Practice in Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At HSU, field trips are more than extracurricular activities; they serve as \u201cextended classrooms\u201d where HSU Fashion Design students practice observation, analysis, and the application of professional knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By experiencing logistics processes and exploring international technology trends, students build a solid practical foundation for their projects, academic studies, and future integration after graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, this reflects HSU\u2019s training orientation: blending teaching with practice to shape dynamic, creative students who are fully prepared for the professional world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
