Students must create a personal study plan for their new major and complete the required coursework in the corresponding training program. The maximum duration of study for a new major is limited to the maximum allowed for the first major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Leave of absence refers to a student\u2019s temporary suspension from academic activities at the University for a defined period, rather than an expulsion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Students may take a leave of absence only in the following cases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Leave of absence for personal needs is considered official study time, while in other situations, it is not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The duration of a leave of absence is one main semester. In special cases, the Head of the Office of Academic Affairs may approve up to two main semesters. Students must apply for a leave of absence to the Office of Academic Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before the end of the approved leave period, students are responsible for returning to study on schedule and for adjusting their personal study plan to re-register for courses missed during the leave.
