Good communication is not simply about speaking eloquently, but about delivering the right information to the right person, at the right time, in the right way, and aiming for the listener to best understand the messages that the speaker wants to express.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Workshop: \u201cCommunication in Work &#8211; Life&#8221;, part of the Engpower Workshop Series \u2013 EP.5 organized by the English Linguistics Program (Faculty of Languages &#8211; Psychology), took place successfully, attracting a large number of lecturers and students to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the accompaniment of two talented and experienced speakers, Mr. Nguyen Tan Loc (M.A.) &#8211; Senior Capability Development Manager of Abbott Vietnam and Ms. Phan Vu Thien Chau &#8211; Marketing Manager of Abbott Vietnam, the workshop helped students better understand Effective Communication and how to communicate effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"6240\" height=\"4160\" data-id=\"11075\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hoasen.edu.vn\/nn\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2026\/05\/IMG_9893-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11075\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Mr. Nguyen Tan Loc (M.A.) &#8211; Senior Capability Development Manager of Abbott Vietnam<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"6240\" height=\"4160\" data-id=\"11076\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hoasen.edu.vn\/nn\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2026\/05\/IMG_9996-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11076\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Ms. Phan Vu Thien Chau &#8211; Marketing Manager of Abbott Vietnam<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program was a space for lecturers and students to co-explore how to have Effective Communication based on two main theoretical frameworks: Johari Window and Communication Matrix. Through professional sharing and practical experiences, the speakers brought a comprehensive perspective on the concept of an \u201ceffective communicator\u201d in today&#8217;s academic and working context, while emphasizing the importance of understanding, listening, and the ability to master personal emotions when communicating. From there, participants realized that communication is not only about speaking but also about listening to and understanding the listener, creating connections and leading positive emotions to bring opportunities in both work and life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The highlight of the workshop was a series of experiential activities such as group work, role-playing, and quizzes, etc. Participants not only approached the concept of Effective Communication from a theoretical perspective but also directly participated in experiencing the role of a Trade Manager, learning more about how to analyze and solve difficulties at work as well as managing and operating a department, knowing more about the reality of the future working environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"6240\" height=\"4160\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hoasen.edu.vn\/nn\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2026\/05\/IMG_0219-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11077\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussion, Q&amp;A, and mini-game sessions took place extremely vibrantly, creating a close and positive energy-filled learning atmosphere.
