On March 19, 2026, Public Relations students from the Faculty of Marketing – Communication, Hoa Sen University, attended the opening session of the course News & Reporting Production, held at the newsroom of Thanh Nien Newspaper. The course provides students with hands-on experience in journalism and media production<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course is organized through collaboration between Hoa Sen University and Thanh Nien Newspaper, aiming to strengthen practice-oriented education. Students have the opportunity to learn directly from professional journalists, understand newsroom operations, and produce real media content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the opening session, Mr. Nguyen Trong Phuoc, Member of the Editorial Board and Director of the Digital Content Development Center at Thanh Nien Newspaper, shared that many students from previous cohorts had their works published on Thanh Nien Online and later returned to the newsroom for internships. This demonstrates the clear effectiveness of the training model that combines academic learning with real newsroom experience.<\/p>\n\n\n

Representing the Faculty of Marketing – Communication, Hoa Sen University, Mr. Truong Quang Vinh, Vice Dean of the Faculty, emphasized that conducting the course in a professional journalism environment helps students develop practical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt to the demands of the modern media and communication industry.<\/p>\n\n\n

A highlight of the opening session was a creative activity where students selected their final project topics by throwing paper airplanes<\/a> into different news categories. The category they landed on would become the topic of their final video report, creating an exciting and realistic learning experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
