Position: Ocean Freight Manager (Freight Fwd)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Manage sea transport activities at Rhenus Vietnam<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Ensure that Operations departments carry out their tasks according to the set SOP and KPI<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Maintain regular contact\/link with the Regional Ocean Freight Product Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Communicate issues\/change requests related to Transportation Management System (TMS) periodically for discussion with Regional Product Team<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Conduct regular meetings with the Operations Department to help the team track any market updates\/developments, discuss operational issues, reports related to data quality, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Ensure data quality reports are reviewed and KPIs are met<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Create work and volume reports to track costs, sales, gross profit and work-related KPIs, evaluate volume developments, department resources, subcontractors and develop New ideas to maximize operations and profits<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Participate in general sales calls for new customers as well as performance meetings<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Meet\/liaise with subcontractors (airlines\/main loaders\/truckers, brokers, core carriers, co-loaders) to create and maintain good relationships as well like escalating and resolving performance issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Ensure to conduct regular case studies and root cause analysis for preventative action<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Communicate goals, direction and regularly motivate team members to support their continued development and growth within the company<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Ensure that customer commitments are maintained while strategic planning for company growth is promoted<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Check and sign documents before finishing work<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final review and signature of all payables and receivables upon submission<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ensure that all required documents are collected while job records are duly signed\/cross-checked<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Manage complex unresolved issues reported by Operations Supervisor<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Other tasks as assigned by superiors\/General Director<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JOB REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       Degree in Logistics\/Transportation Management\/Supply Chain or equivalent<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       Minimum 5 years of experience in a management position in a similar field<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       Extensive knowledge of customs policies and domestic and international freight services<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       Ability to solve problems effectively<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       Familiar with industry standard programs and able to operate standard systems appropriate to position<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       Good contacts with major ports, carriers and freight\/transportation service providers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       Good verbal and written communication skills in English<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       Highly motivated and able to work independently<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       Customer-centric thinking, sales experience is an advantage<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       Experience in handling special shipments: refrigerated cargo, DG, contract\/project logistics, etc. is an advantage<\/p>\n\n\n\n
