Currently, some individuals have the phenomenon of using media to get rich as well as seek fame through acts such as destroying property, using negative language, poor culture, etc. Some of the above acts not only show signs of violating the law but also raise concerns about whether Vietnamese youth will imitate these acts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reporter Sen Nguyen of the South China Morning Post, a reputable newspaper in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia, interviewed many experts about this phenomenon.\u00a0Among the experts is Master Nguyen Hong An, Acting Head of the Department of Psychology and manager of the Center for Psychological Research and Consulting, at Hoa Sen University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teacher Nguyen Hong An said there is currently very little research on these phenomena in Vietnam, especially their relationship with some current school violence issues. However, the above cases are likely a factor contributing to the “normalization” of violent acts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The problem also lies in the fact that some young people may feel that their behavior and lifestyle currently do not receive approval from their families and people around them, but they find “acceptance” from the above phenomena. The fact that the posted content appears frequently and “touches” the daily lives of young people also contributes to the maintenance and spread of this phenomenon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Master Nguyen Hong An also raised concerns that adults may lack information about the content that young people are exposed to. This contributes to creating difficulties in orienting and supporting young people when necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
