During the field trip, Hoa Sen Elite class students learned more about the historical relics of Phu Loi prison, a national revolutionary historical relic.\u00a0Phu Loi Prison was built by the puppet government of Ngo Dinh Diem around mid-1957 to imprison and torture revolutionary soldiers and patriotic Vietnamese people at that time.\u00a0With the plot to invade the South, using demagogic tricks, terrorism, and the campaign “denounce communists, destroy communists”, America and Diem have committed countless crimes throughout the South of our country.\u00a0To implement “it’s better to catch a mistake than miss it”, America and Diem built prisons and detention camps everywhere to imprison political prisoners, revolutionary soldiers, and patriotic Vietnamese people, including Phu Loi prison.\u00a0According to witnesses who were imprisoned here, when they were imprisoned here, they were brutally beaten and tortured, and their diet was also extremely harsh and poor.\u00a0Rice cooked with rotten rice, eaten with rotten fish, salt, and fish sauce containing maggots.\u00a0Life is dirty, lacking water, lying in cells, tiger cages, and hard labor, when sick there is no medicine to treat… They also set up very harsh “24 prohibitions” to find ways to beat prisoners unjustly. any time.\u00a0In particular, we must mention the Phu Loi massacre that took place in late November and early December 1958, which was the peak of the crimes that America and Diem committed against the people imprisoned here.\u00a0Phu Loi Prison is known as “hell on earth” because they apply the most cruel tortures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
