As one of the most influential American philosophers today, Ken Wilber (1949) with his new, bold academic works, is known as “Einstein in the field of consciousness research”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is also the proponent of transpersonal psychology and integrative theory, giving us a more comprehensive and profound view of the great journey of human consciousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First coming to Vietnamese readers through the work “A Brief History of Everything”, this book covers an extensive range of history from the Big Bang to today’s barren post-modern society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through inclusive theory, Wilber attempts to find meaning in the contradictory ways \u2013 physical, emotional, intellectual, moral, and spiritual \u2013 in which humans have evolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEmbracing the whole universe\u201d will be the theme for the exchange.\u00a0In addition to introducing this new translation, at the talk, Ken Wilber’s idea of \u200b\u200ba “whole system” will also be discussed, juxtaposed, and compared with synthetic thinking, or universal thinking. The unified object of the East… From there comes a new way of understanding the world and all things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guest of this exchange is the translator – Dr.\u00a0Duong Ngoc Dung – Master of East Asian Studies, and Doctor of Religious Studies.\u00a0He is currently Deputy Dean of, the Faculty of Society and Humanities and director of the Philosophy program at Hoa Sen University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Program host (MC): MSc. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc – Head of the Communications Department of the International University (VNU-HCM), visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism and Communications at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
