Toronto welcomed him with its characteristic chill and snow-covered landscapes. As someone who loves cold weather and the beauty of snow, Gia B\u1ea3o felt truly fortunate to experience such a complete winter. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Study Experience at Centennial College, Canada<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>During his studies at <strong>Centennial College<\/strong>, Gia B\u1ea3o was highly impressed by the professional training quality and the dedication of the teaching staff. The lecturers not only provided academic support but also cared about the mental well-being of international students like him. He felt the openness, respect for cultural diversity, and the complete absence of racial discrimination \u2013 which made it easy for him to integrate and feel at home.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1468\" height=\"956\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hoasen.edu.vn\/hsu-iie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2025\/05\/z6593913405985_7ba82ee6c6233afa5555e1b7ab21b2e0.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9497 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside of class, Gia B\u1ea3o had the chance to immerse himself in the vibrant arts scene of Toronto. He attended the famous musical &#8220;The Lion King&#8221; at the <strong>Princess of Wales Theatre<\/strong>, marveled at the beauty of &#8220;Swan Lake&#8221; at the <strong>Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts<\/strong>, and enjoyed Beethoven\u2019s timeless symphonies at <strong>Roy Thomson Hall<\/strong>. These world-class performances not only helped him unwind after studying but also broadened his cultural and artistic knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exploring Sports and Nature in Canada Along with Life in Toronto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Another unforgettable memory was watching an NBA basketball game at <strong>Scotiabank Arena<\/strong>. Witnessing globally renowned athletes competing in a grand, dazzling stadium felt like stepping into a real-life sports movie \u2013 an experience that words can hardly describe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the <strong>Reading Week holiday<\/strong>, Gia B\u1ea3o visited Banff, famously known as Canada\u2019s natural paradise. The scenery there was picturesque, with majestic snowy mountains and crystal-clear lakes reflecting the blue sky. It was one of those trips that made him truly grateful for the exchange program opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-ad2f72ca wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2568\" height=\"1444\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hoasen.edu.vn\/hsu-iie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2025\/05\/z6593943479085_3c9457a975dfc40f57f181a9be0f8e39.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9500\" style=\"width:432px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1290\" height=\"722\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hoasen.edu.vn\/hsu-iie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2025\/05\/z6593944180069_3070643615b435a3b1394bec90e3d769.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9499\" style=\"width:435px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daily life in Toronto was also convenient. Gia B\u1ea3o was lucky to find accommodation near downtown, close to bus, subway, and shuttle routes, making commuting easy. Moreover, his neighborhood was near an Asian market, where he could find familiar Vietnamese dishes to ease his homesickness. The Vietnamese community in Toronto was also large and supportive, making him feel warmly welcomed even while abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Valuable Lessons Learned from the Journey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This exchange program in Canada not only helped Gia B\u1ea3o enhance his academic knowledge but also provided invaluable cultural experiences, life skills, and unforgettable memories. He is truly grateful to the Canadian Government, the SEED program, and <strong>Centennial College<\/strong> for creating this meaningful journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also sincerely thanks Hoa Sen University, especially the <strong>Institute of International Education<\/strong>, for their dedicated support throughout the preparation and participation process.
