Summer School is the most anticipated semester abroad of the year at the Hoa Sen – De Montfort Program. The semester includes many exchange activities and cultural experiences specifically designed for DMU students to experience a multicultural environment. On July 19, six students from the Hoa Sen – De Montfort International Joint Program departed for De Montfort University (UK). Accordingly, within the framework of the Summer School 2024 course, students will experience studying and living in the UK for 2 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n

1. Summer School 2024: A Unique International Learning Opportunity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Summer School course\u2014an eagerly anticipated semester and a distinctive feature of De Montfort University\u2014provides high-quality classes and interactive educational activities that help students enhance their knowledge and professional skills. This is an opportunity for students enrolled in the Hoa Sen – De Montfort Program to meet and learn alongside DMU students from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cSummer School 2024 is an opportunity that has helped me understand that the Hoa Sen – De Montfort Program offers me the chance to study an international curriculum at a very affordable tuition rate. I can choose to transfer to study in the UK with a simple process and save costs equivalent to 1-2 years of study in Vietnam. After experiencing this summer semester, I feel confident about adapting to studying in another country, and I think I will choose to transfer for my last two years. From this study and exploration trip, DMU students gain valuable knowledge and skills for their journey towards becoming global citizens. They not only improve their foreign language skills and experience various cultures but also connect with friends from different countries, while acquiring a wealth of practical knowledge and fresh life experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Developing personal skills and enhancing global mindset<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The trip helps students improve their English skills and prepare for international study and career opportunities. Students return with new skills and a strong motivation to continue their studies, especially as they prepare for their final year and future careers.<\/p>\n\n\n

“The international experience journey has helped me expand my mindset, become more confident, and be ready to adapt to new environments and new people. The semester gave me the opportunity to study alongside instructors and students from around the world and visit the beautiful sights of England, allowing me to broaden my knowledge,” Chan Tran shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Hoa Sen – De Montfort<\/a> program, the Summer School in the UK is one of many international semesters held in various countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan. These programs help students enhance and develop themselves in many aspects: academics, language skills, skills, and international relations. This is also an opportunity for students to connect and seek global job opportunities after graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
