The Short-Term Online Internship Scholarship Programme is jointly implemented by Education New Zealand (ENZ) and the University of Auckland, offering students the opportunity to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2611\ufe0f Gain practical industry experience with multinational companies and New Zealand businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2611\ufe0f Network and connect with international students in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2611\ufe0f Develop work skills, confidence, and professional networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2611\ufe0f Enhance global perspectives and skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2611\ufe0f Advance careers, regardless of location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme spans 3 weeks with approximately 10-15 hours of work per week, designed to provide international students with opportunities to enhance skills, practical knowledge, and promote career development in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants will be grouped into teams of 4-6 students from different countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, India) to address a business challenge for a company based in Auckland. Each group will be accompanied by a mentor to provide guidance and support throughout the programme. Students will be given access to an online platform to connect with their teams, exchange documents, and receive feedback from mentors. At the end of the internship, students will submit a report or presentation on their group project results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some participating employers from previous years include: Auckland Council, Auckland Transport, Auckland Unlimited, BDO, Deloitte, KPMG, Mercury, Orion Healthcare, PwC, Samsung, Vodafone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application Requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1\ufe0f\u20e3 Vietnamese students currently enrolled in bachelor’s programmes at a university in Vietnam from the 3rd year onwards. Students from various fields of study are eligible to apply. However, the programme is not suitable for those studying the following disciplines: Medicine\/ Pharmacy\/ medical-related programmes; Law; science disciplines such as Chemistry\/ Biology\/ Oceanography.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2\ufe0f\u20e3 Proficient in English (equivalent to IELTS Academic 6.0 or above<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3\ufe0f\u20e3 Complete all information in the online application, including the requirement to submit an English CV and provide a link to a video presentation in English introducing yourself and explaining why you want to be selected for this programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
