To provide students with a more practical perspective on the film production process and interdisciplinary collaboration in visual creation, the Faculty of Marketing – Communication, Hoa Sen University, is organizing a workshop themed \u201cHarmonizing Creativity: Crafting Cinematic Narratives\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop offers students with a passion for film, media, content production, and visual arts the opportunity to gain closer insight into the professional environment through direct sharing from industry experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through exclusive sharing from seasoned professionals, the workshop, \u201cCreative Collaboration Across Film Production Roles\u201d, reveals how creative minds unite to transform ideas into cinematic reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students will journey through pre-production, production, and post-production<\/strong>, gaining insight into how each role contributes to crafting visual language, emotional depth, and unforgettable audience experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond a professional sharing session, the workshop invites learners to explore the power of collaboration, the driving force that turns ideas into compelling stories on screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insights from Three Seasoned Film Experts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop features three speakers currently working in diverse roles across the film and visual arts industry:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director Do Quoc Trung<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is a film director and a lecturer in Film Studies at universities in Viet Nam. He has directed two feature films scheduled for release in 2025: Ph\u00ed Ph\u00f4ng: Qu\u1ef7 M\u00e1u R\u1eebng Thi\u00ean<\/em> and Ba K\u1ec3 Con Nghe<\/em>. In addition, he has earned recognition both domestically and internationally through numerous awards for his short films, including \u0110\u00f3ng v\u00e0o, M\u1edf ra<\/em>, C\u00e1 Chu\u1ed1i<\/em>, Tr\u1ef1c nh\u1eadt v\u1edbi Th\u01b0 K\u00fd<\/em>, B\u1ed9 \u0110\u1ed3ng Ph\u1ee5c<\/em>, Ng\u01b0\u1eddi h\u1ed9 Tang<\/em>, …<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graphic designer Kelly Hoang<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a Production Designer with over 12 years of experience in the film and advertising industry. She has held multiple roles, including Art Director and Set Decorator, on domestic and international projects. Kelly Hoang was previously nominated for Outstanding Set Decorator<\/strong> by the Set Decorators Society of America and has contributed to major projects such as 5 Bloods<\/em>, Kong: Skull Island<\/em>, …<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director of Photography Fa Chau Tran<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through his expertise in visuals, he brings stories to life on screen using camera techniques, lighting, and image composition. Students gained a deeper understanding of how imagery drives cinematic storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
