As globalization continues to reshape education and the workforce, English has become a key gateway to knowledge, learning opportunities, and future careers.  Despite this, students in remote areas still face considerable challenges, including shortages of qualified teachers, learning resources, technology, effective teaching methods, and opportunities for English language practice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To address this challenge, the Institute of English and International Integration (iEII) at Hoa Sen University (HSU), together with the Little Rose Charity Foundation (LRF) and the Institute of Studies of International Education and Economics (ISIEE), is organizing the workshop \u201cEnglish for Every Child – Closing the English Education Gap in Remote Areas\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop brings together experts, educators, schools, universities, businesses, social organizations, and charitable foundations to exchange ideas, share practical experiences, and explore sustainable ways to expand English learning opportunities for children in disadvantaged areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop focuses on three key priorities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Teachers are the foundation of quality education;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Technology supports learning, but teachers remain irreplaceable; and,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Educational equity depends on the shared efforts of schools, universities, businesses, and social organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    With this spirit in mind, the workshop aims to advance a shared vision: to ensure that every child in Viet Nam, regardless of where they live, has the opportunity to access English as a gateway to learning and a brighter future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Target Audience:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Experts, lecturers, and English language teachers;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Representatives of businesses, social organizations, and charitable foundations interested in education;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Students majoring in English Language Studies and English Language Teaching; and,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Individuals interested in education in remote and mountainous areas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
