Assessment

Assessment is an integral part of instruction, as it determines whether or not the goals of education are being met. It is a both way approach, for students can know how they achieve each goal for each subject they learn and lecturers know whether their teaching method or approach is working effectively to reach learning objectives of the subject that they teach. It is, therefore, essential that lecturers learn the significance of classroom assessment, a variety of classroom assessment techniques, and student assessment so as to help them improve instruction and student learning.
