On March 18, a group of students from the Faculty of Information Technology of HSU won 2 awards at the “Innovation Tech Challenge 2023”, within the framework of the Samsung Innovation Campus 2022 \u2013 2023 (SIC) project taking place in Hanoi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bravery to step into the national technology playground<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Innovation Tech Challenge 2023, within the framework of the Tech Talent Development project \u2013 Samsung Innovation Campus 2022 \u2013 2023 (SIC), has just ended with outstanding marks from 14 selected teams across the country. Students of the Faculty of Information Technology at Hoa Sen University participated and excellently brought home two prestigious awards<\/strong>, once again affirming the outstanding technological capacity<\/strong> and creative spirit <\/strong>of HSU students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) is a collaborative program between Samsung and the HSU Faculty of Information Technology, designed for young learners aged 14\u201324. The program offers courses in the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Big Data. For the past three years, Hoa Sen University has been the only university in the South to host this project<\/strong>. At the end of each course, SIC holds a nationwide contest for all participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, representatives of the Faculty of Information Technology of HSU had 2 teams, including: the Cheetah team, consisting of Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan, Mr. Do Thanh Hung, Mr. Lam Xuan Hung, and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Lam Anh, and the Leopath team, consisting of Mr. Dinh Quoc Cuong, Mr. Ta Minh Duc, Mr. Nguyen Minh Khoi, and Mr. Huynh The Bao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the competition, teams were required to build two robots: one fully autonomous robot that operates without human interference on the field, and one remote-controlled robot that is operated wirelessly by a single team member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 2 products, 1 mobile robot with the task of siege and 1 control robot with the task of pushing horses, HSU’s Cheetah team excellently won the 3rd Prize<\/strong>, and the Leopath Team won the Consolation Prize<\/strong> of the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arousing a passion for technology, nurturing young talents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

More than a competition, the Innovation Tech Challenge is also an ideal environment for students to apply the knowledge they have learned to specific products and learn from their peers across the country. This achievement is a testament to the quality of training that the Faculty of Information Technology of HSU is implementing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to international cooperation programs, the Faculty also regularly organizes many technology playgrounds, such as HSU TechDev Challenge<\/a>, HSU Programming Challenge… in order to create a space for creativity and diverse practice, helping students practice their expertise and competitive bravery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Faculty of Information Technology will continue to expand its academic and technological playgrounds, creating a solid launching pad for students on their journey to become global technology experts in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
